What a requested feature needs
A signed-in session needs a protected connection between your browser and account. The workspace uses a session cookie for that purpose. It supports sign-in and does not authorise advertising. Ordinary connection and security information associated with a page request is described separately in the privacy notice.
Rules about storing and accessing information on your device also concern other browser storage. Having no advertising cookie does not make every possible storage operation necessary.
Choose language and learning storage separately
Optional settings remain off without a saved opt-in. Enabling remembered language lets the site retain that preference for later visits. Enabling remembered learning progress concerns the local guide and learning aids provided for that purpose.
Your selection takes effect when you explicitly save it. You can still read the public content with both options off. The stored decision is used to respect your choice.
Change your decision later
Reopen the site’s browser settings, change the options and save. Turning off an optional storage choice stops and removes the associated local storage covered by that setting. Your consent is not a permanent commitment.
Another browser, another device or cleared site data may require a new choice. Files you have already downloaded remain under your control; a browser preference does not delete a copy on your computer.
See addresses immediately; choose external maps
The location pages show addresses and first-party street plans immediately. The interactive map is loaded from Google Maps or OpenStreetMap only when you open it. That creates a connection to the chosen provider. Hiding the map removes the embedded view again.
The interactive map is an additional view. You can read the address and first-party street plan without connecting to an external map service.
Separate browser exercises from account records
Preparation worksheets in the sector and service libraries are temporary work in the current tab. A Markdown file is created only when you request a download. This differs from a personal Academy completion or a saved workspace document.
Turning off local learning storage does not delete an account or server-side Academy records. Use the data-rights contact route for personal account records.

Tell us the page, selected option and browser at kontakt@vergabezone.de. Please do not send session cookies, sign-in tokens or unredacted browser-storage dumps. A short description is enough to begin.
What else would you like to know?
Must I allow optional storage to read guides?
No. Public content remains readable. Optional settings concern remembering your language and the local learning progress covered by those settings.
Is local storage legally the same as an advertising cookie?
Purpose and use matter. Device-storage rules can also cover local storage; its technical form alone does not make it necessary or exempt from consent.
Does Google Maps load when I read the address?
The embedded external map loads only after your choice. The address and first-party street plan are available beforehand.
Does resetting browser preferences delete my account?
No. Browser preferences and account information are separate. Send an account or erasure request through the contact identified in the privacy notice.
