Add the opportunity to the bid room
Open a suitable opportunity and select Add to bid room. If a pursuit already exists, open it instead of creating a parallel duplicate.
Assign ownership and a next action
Record the purpose, owner and next concrete action. “Work on the bid” is vague; “Check requirement 2 with the technical lead” is reviewable.
Work through requirements and risks
Connect requirements to existing evidence. Record risks with a next review action. Keep internal assumptions separate from confirmed source content.
Version drafts deliberately
Enter a clear title and your text under “Concept & drafts”, then select “Save version”. Where AI assistance is available, check every claim and source. A draft cannot replace missing references or actual delivery capability.
Separate approval from submission
Review the final content, prices and attachments and record internal approval. Then submit through the channel required by the original documents and retain the receipt.
Make the method concrete.
The lead creates a pursuit, a technical colleague checks the operating concept and a second person reviews attachments and pricing. Only then is the approved version submitted on the original portal.
Avoid this common pitfall.
Treating internal approval as submission to the buyer. Working status, transmission and receipt are separate steps.
Common questions, clearly answered.
Does the bid room submit automatically?
No. Official submission follows the channel specified for the procedure. The view supports preparation and collaboration.
Is AI required for bid preparation?
You can work manually with notes, requirements, evidence and drafts. AI features depend on configuration, access and usage limits.
