Identify the original source
Open the opportunity detail. Note the title, buyer and procedure identifier. These help you recognise the same procedure on the official portal.
Open the access guide
Expand registration, downloads and submission guidance. The instructions reflect the recognised platform. Read the distinction between search subscriptions and participation functions.
Follow the actual destination
TED or a notice service may point to another document platform. Paste its address into “Procurement platform link” and select “Show guide”. The guide recognises the address in your browser without automatically opening that portal.
Check costs and account type
Find the account specifically intended for procurement participation. Do not choose a paid research package solely because it is prominent. Ask the operator or buyer if costs are unclear.
Test documents, messages and submission separately
Download available documents, check registration and bidder messages, and test technical submission requirements early. A download is not a submission. Retain the eventual transmission receipt.
Make the method concrete.
A TED result links to a municipal procurement portal. Follow that destination, choose the appropriate participation account and retain the procedure URL. Assess any advertised search package separately.
Avoid this common pitfall.
Confusing a search subscription with a mandatory participation charge. The guide supports your review; check current terms for the actual portal.
Common questions, clearly answered.
Can Vergabezone always provide the documents directly?
No. Documents, registration and technical submission can remain on the original portal. The access guide explains that route.
Does every portal registration cost money?
Account types differ. Check the participation account actually offered and distinguish it from optional research or convenience packages.
