Waste and recycling

Waste and recycling: Scope and decision

A material label may conceal variable composition, handling needs or contamination. Collecting it successfully does not prove that the intended downstream facility can accept the actual load, or that the supplier has evidenced capacity and responsibility across the full chain. Working output: A material-chain register connecting specified streams, handling and destination acceptance, with responsibilities and a practical rejected-load route visible before the operational method and collection price receive approval from the bid sponsor and delivery team.

Waste and recycling: Planning and control

Optional premises can make collection density look stronger than the work actually offered. Access windows, waiting and positioning may then consume the margin of a per-bin or per-lift rate calculated from an attractive but unconfirmed estate-wide route. Working output: A committed-site route model with positioning, access and collection time included, showing the commercial consequence of optional premises joining later or failing to join under the proposed service arrangement for the initial contract period.

Waste and recycling: Evidence and handover

A proposal may use a broad diversion or recycling percentage without showing the material, period or destination basis. Different definitions can make the figure hard to verify and conceal who is responsible for contamination, rejected loads or changed downstream conditions. Working output: An outcome and exception schedule linking reporting claims to their source basis, with contamination, rejected loads and destination changes given an explicit operational owner and commercial treatment before the proposal is approved for submission to the purchaser.
