Retail: Scope and decision

A retail invitation may describe a concession, product supply arrangement or managed online service using similar language. The party taking payment, owning stock and answering the customer can differ, changing the resources and evidence that a credible response needs. Working output: A trading responsibility map identifying the owner of each customer step, the relevant source and the commercial question that still needs an answer.

Retail: Planning and control

Footfall or sales forecasts can encourage commitments to inventory, opening hours and space before demand is established. A strong trading week does not show what happens to cash, ageing stock or staffing when sales remain below the assumed level. Working output: A retail downside review connecting weak demand with stock ownership, service obligations, available actions and the threshold for revising the proposed offer.

Retail: Evidence and handover

The sale may be smooth while a return exposes gaps between the online channel, physical location, delivery partner and account team. General customer-service claims do not reveal who can resolve an exception or how the buyer sees the outcome. Working output: A cross-channel exception example showing customer communication, return authority, stock treatment and the outcome record passed to the account owner.
