A product family can contain different models, software and intended applications. Evidence for a related configuration or setting may be persuasive without establishing the suitability of the actual device being offered for the purchaser's stated clinical use. Working output: A configuration evidence matrix showing the proposed use, supporting records and review decisions, with assumptions about related products kept distinct from verified evidence for the offered device.
Equipment delivery can be complete while site preparation, interfaces, training or local acceptance remain unresolved. The supplier's installation commitment then becomes entangled with responsibilities that belong to the purchaser or another technical provider. Working output: A usable-handover plan covering site readiness, interfaces, training and acceptance, with external dependencies made explicit before the supplier promises the proposed implementation date.
The purchase price can conceal consumables, software, maintenance and replacement assumptions. A device that appears competitive at acquisition may require a materially different ongoing commitment under the customer's actual use and support expectations. Working output: A lifetime service comparison showing usage assumptions, consumables, maintenance, software and support boundaries, with a worked variation case tied to the configuration actually being offered.
