YOUR PRACTICE. STEP BY STEP.
From understanding to application.
The modules connect concrete requirements, reliable evidence and a practical task for your business. Begin with the topic that helps you now.
A brief can ask for a report without stating the land, asset or operating decision it must inform. The supplier may then offer an impressive analytical scope that still cannot answer the buyer's actual question within the available evidence. Working output: A decision-to-evidence map connecting the commissioned purpose with site observations, analytical scope and review, making missing information visible before the method and commercial offer are committed.
A strong method description may overlook collection conditions, handling, analytical suitability or technical review. If those steps are not owned, the final conclusion may rely on data that cannot support its intended use despite timely fieldwork and reporting. Working output: An evidence pathway with owned collection, handling, analysis and review steps, allowing a technical reviewer to assess whether the proposed finding will rest on suitable and traceable data.
Access restrictions, unknown site conditions and revised design questions can create extra visits or sampling after a fixed-price commission begins. A broad promise to deliver the required report can hide unlimited effort where the change boundary is poorly defined. Working output: A fieldwork change schedule defining baseline conditions, additional-sampling triggers and approval responsibilities, with handover evidence that distinguishes completion of the agreed commission from later investigation or design work.
